What an adorable three-some.
Twinning and couple photos are everywhere on social media right now. But this mommy takes things into a whole new level with her twinning posts with her 2 adorable daughters.
Mommy Dominique is a UK-based lifestyle Instagrammer and is mom to two beautiful daughters – 10-year-old Amelia, and 3-year-old Penny. She’s also a work from home mom who left her full-time job last 2015 to be with her kids full-time. Currently, she manages her own blog and Instagram account where she posts photos of herself with her daughters – mostly dressed similarly.
Mommy Dominique tells BoredPanda how it all started:
The #allthatisthree photos came out by chance. One morning I’d unintentionally dressed myself and Penny in matching striped tops, then Amelia emerged from her bedroom wearing one too. We’d laughed about it and when I was struggling for an image idea later that day, we thought we’d share our joke with everyone else.
All of the signs we saw during yesterday’s #womensmarch were filled with love and inspiring messages, but to me, this one really stood out. The term ‘fight like a girl’ used to be thrown around as a negative remark, but those days are definitely over. If fighting like a girl means standing strong and together like the men, women and children did yesterday, then I’ll fight like a girl everyday. We couldn’t be there yesterday, but we’re not staying silent either (my girls never are ☺️) #allthatisthree
And their photos are beautiful. Furthermore, it is a great way to document the girls as they grow up. Just as Mommy Dominique said:
The most rewarding part of being a mother is watching them both grow into the smart, funny and completely bonkers young ladies that they are. They amaze me every day and they make me so proud. I guess I must be doing something right.
We’re completely going bonkers with their three-some photos as well. Here are our favorites.
What I love about the #allthatisthree photos – aside from the fact that I get to document the girls and how they change each week – is that it captures the relationship between a mother and daughter, and two sisters. Anything I wear, or any hairstyle I do, Amelia wants to do the same. This flows down to Penny too; anything Amelia says, wears, does, Penny is quick to follow. We all imitate each other. That’s why I thought our #allthatisthree photos were perfect for this this weeks @instagram weekend hashtag project #whpimitation
2016, the year that #allthatisthree was born. What started as an unplanned, last minute shot of the girls and I wearing matching tops and topknots has turned into so much more. Thank you for all the likes, the comments, support and for your general amazingness this year. My resolutions this year are to be more organised (I already have my planner ready to go), stop picking my nails (a yearly resolution of mine 😂) and to create more #allthatisthree photos. Happy New Year! #whpresolutions
Ester the Elf left us all a pair of pyjamas last night (thanks to @boden_clothing for giving her a helping hand). So with our new Christmas pj’s, a glass of milk poured, a gingerbread Christmas pudding (that looks more like a gingerbread splat), a carrot for Rudolph (that Penny’s almost eaten), Home Alone on the TV, and a Christmassy post over on the blog, I think we’re ready for the big guy. Wishing you all a very merry Christmas. Hope you have a magical day filled with food, family and fun. Link in bio for my new post #bodenbyme #allthatisthree
