So how’s your Hatchimal doing?
If you’re a parent of a young child or if one is included in your gift list, then chances are you know what a Hatchimal is. In a nutshell, Hatchimals are robot animals that arrive in an egg, hatches after your child cares for it, and even “evolves” as he/she continues playing with it.
Hatchimals was considered the toy of the year and was in every child’s wish list last Christmas. It was so popular that it was sold out everywhere during the Holiday season and some desperate parents resorted to buying it off eBay for exorbitant prices.
So if the social media was flooded with parents looking for Hatchimals before the Holidays, these days its swamped with another thing entirely – that of “stillborn” Hatchimals, or Hatchimals who failed to hatch on Christmas day. Here are a few sad albeit funny tweets from parents who were unfortunate enough to adopt the said Hatchimals.
Imagine dealing with this on Christmas day.
