Water is a basic necessity for each and everyone of us. But sometimes, we take it for granted.
In Lima, Peru, having clean water is a huge problem. 1 in every 10 people doesn’t have access to clean water and it is harder than we think.
Abel Cruz, a community leader took the initiative to install “fog catchers” to provide clean water to his fellow residents.
This fog catcher produces water that can be used to water the plants or use for bathing. But it is undrinkable.
This innovation transforms fog into clean water and is a very good help for the people in their city.
Abel is planning to install more of these fog catchers and try to treat the water to make it drinkable for everyone.
