That poor thing.
Last July, this black plastic trash bag was found in Transylvania, Romania. When people opened it up, they found a puppy.
Upon closer inspection, the puppy was in a sad state – suffering from a broken leg, and maggots were starting to eat her flesh. At the same time, she also was starving, dehydrated, and had a serious head injury. People also believed that she was severely beaten in an attempt to end her life.
The poor pup was then rushed to the Transylvania Animal Care where she received the emergency medical care she needed. The doctors relieved the swelling in her brain, and removed the maggots from her flesh. She was named “Anora” – which means light, in reference to her will to live.
She was then taken to the UK, where she found a new, loving home with Helen Taylor and her family. Anora also recently had a leg surgery – from which she’s recovering well.
Anora proves that with love and care, any pet can go from a broken one on the brink of death, to a thriving and loving companion.
